Strawberry Vanilla Iced Tea

Refreshing and fragrant! Smooth, medium-bodied Orchid Vanilla black tea is married with sweet strawberries and earthy herbs, served over ice.

Strawberry Vanilla Iced Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Tea Forté Orchid Vanilla loose leaf tea
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 fresh strawberries
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 of a lemon, sliced
  • 2 sprigs of fresh herbs, such as thyme or rosemary
  • ice cubes
  • Directions

    1. In a teapot, add the tea leaves then pour the hot water directly over the leaves. Steep for 5 minutes, strain out the tea leaves and set the liquid aside.
    2. In a tall, 16-ounce serving glass, mash the strawberries to the bottom with a muddler or wooden spoon. Then add the honey, lemon slices, herb sprigs and ice cubes.
    3. Pour the reserved tea liquid into the glass and enjoy!

    Yield: One 16-ounce serving
